    Women Warriors

    in General Discussion

We all have women in our lives who inspire us or have qualities we admire. I stumbled upon this video that I think beautifully illustrates the generational influence that women who fight for their rights and dreams can have in their family and the ives of the people around them.

Who are the women who have inspired you?

My aunt Marcene, who was a motorbike riding, fast pitch, microbiologist inspired me to be myself and go to university. My aunt Melanie who was a ceramic artist sparked my interest in and love of art. My mom taught me to think for myself and find my path, even when it was very different from my peers, and fight for my goals.
